Build classroom libraries with BDI

“Perhaps there is some secret sort of homing instinct in books that brings them to their perfect readers.”  ~The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society.

At the city conference event on September 15th, 2019 fellows have collected books for their classrooms to build vocabulary and give exposure to the students they teach. Book Donation Initiative started by a grade 11 student was the reason behind the books fellows collected. BDI donated above 1600 books to 200+ fellows at the American embassy school.  BDI has collaborated with TFI to build classroom libraries in our classrooms. Used books were collected by Book Donation Initiative and those books are now being recycled by fellows in their classrooms. Perfect way  to ensure books are being used by those who need it.
